Hello Interweb, we will be look at photos of Ancient Greek clothing.

Here is an image of a gold snake armlet or massive bracelet, from the Early Hellenistic, 300–250 B.C.. Men during theses times wore simple, functional jewelry.

The Statuette of Artemis, the goddess of the hunt. From the Archaic Period, about 530–520 B.C.. This shows the sleeveless peplos, (ropes) that were belted at the waist. The Skirt is arranged to appear straight in the front with the fullness gathered into seven pleats across the back. Its bodice is distinguished by a short overfall called an apoptygma.

Here is a Bronze cuirass (body armor) from Apulian culture, during the Classical Period, 4th century B.C.. This armor was the major element of a Greek warrior’s panoply or suit of armor.
